The Monday 9:00AM class is All Levels and meets in person at The Loft.

This class is adapted to suit the group of students who attend on any given day. We focus first on range-of-motion movements to warm up the body before shifting to building strength in the core as well as in the body as a whole. We work with alignment in the context of feeling the yoga poses internally and we often use props to help brighten the mind’s attention to a given action or group of muscles.

Humor and joy are woven into the practice with an invitation to exploration and freedom for each student.

THESE CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY HOSTED WEEKLY BOTH ONLINE & IN PERSON. WE HAVE A BRAND NEW AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM AND PROPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR USE, BUT PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR OWN IF YOU PREFER.

Gentle Yoga Class:

Mondays, 12:00PM to 1:00PM

All Levels Classes:

Wednesdays, 9:30AM to 11:00AM

Fridays, 9:30AM to 11:00AM

These Classes are All Levels and are very similar to the class at The Loft (described above). However, each yoga studio has a unique vibe and though many of the students attend both in Cambridge and Arlington, the flavor of the classes differ, even if the methodology and teaching style are the same.

    Unlimited access to all videos in the library, PLUS 1 monthly 1-hour Private Yoga Session, in person or via Zoom

    (Regular private session rates are $150)

Until I discovered Anne Curtis, I never thought yoga was for me.

Truthfully, many yoga instructors seem focused on demonstrating their skills as opposed to attending to the mobility and capabilities of the students.

This is not true of Anne!
Now, I’m extremely fortunate to experience Anne’s classes via her Video Library.

The video selection is numerous and varied in both length, content and specialty. I love that I can choose an option based upon my schedule, ability and mental bandwidth on any given day. Each and every pose is described and demonstrated in great detail, plus modifications are presented to ensure that everyone achieves their optimum practice.

Private Yoga Lessons

One-on-one private lessons provide the ideal venue for focusing exclusively on the individual and crafting a yoga practice to address his or her unique needs and goals.  

Private lessons can be useful for new students as an introduction to yoga and the correct way to do the basic poses. We can develop sequences to do at home, either to address a specific issue or to establish and build a home practice. 

For more experienced students, private instruction can give greater insight into the subtleties of correct alignment, and help the student gain strength and flexibility.

Asymmetry can be difficult for even the most advanced practioner to perceive and master on their own. A private session can also focus on adding new poses to an established practice to make it more interesting or challenging. 

Finally, private sessions offer the ideal environment for doing therapeutic work and helping to heal injury. 

Fee: $150/hour, In my home studio, $175/hour at The Arlington Center
